Today is Shiva Ratri (Night of Lord Shiva). Today is supposed to be day when Lord Shiva wedded Goddess Parvati. In symbolic sense it is the union of Atma (the Soul) with the Parmatma (Lord). Lord Shiva is the originator of all knowledge in the world including Dance, Astrology, Tantra and Yoga.

As per legend Lord Shiva passed on the knowledge of Yoga to mankind. May Lord Shiva provide his grace and blessings to all of us.
